Nice Weather Is Here, Stay Active!

With our beloved Canadian hockey teams entering the playoffs, now is the perfect time to embrace sports and an active lifestyle and soak up the sunshine. Summer is around the corner and whether it's swimming, hiking, biking, or simply taking leisurely walks in the park, there are endless opportunities to stay active and enjoy the great outdoors. Engaging in physical activity not only boosts your physical health but also uplifts your mood and overall well-being. So, dust off your sneakers, grab your sunscreen, and embark on a journey to stay active and make the most of the sunny days ahead.

What are some activities you are going to do to be active this summer? Here are some of the things our Brand Momentum team loves to do in the sunny weather:

1. Swimming: Whether it's at the beach, a pool, or a local swimming hole, swimming is a fantastic full-body workout that's refreshing in the summer heat.

2. Hiking: Explore nature trails, national parks, or local forests. Hiking offers a great opportunity to connect with nature while getting some exercise.

3. Biking: Hit the trails or explore your neighborhood on a bike. It's a fun way to get around while also getting a cardio workout.

4. Outdoor sports: Play volleyball, basketball, soccer, or tennis at a local park or recreation center with friends and family.

5. Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP): Enjoy the water while working your core muscles with this popular water sport.

6. Kayaking or canoeing: Explore lakes, rivers, or coastal areas while getting an upper body workout.

7. Outdoor yoga: Take your yoga practice outside and enjoy the benefits of stretching and relaxation in the fresh air.

8. Gardening: Get your hands dirty and burn calories by tending to your garden or planting new flowers and vegetables.

9. Beach activities: Take advantage of beach volleyball, frisbee, beach soccer, or simply walking or jogging along the shoreline.

10. Outdoor fitness classes: Join outdoor fitness classes like boot camps, yoga sessions, or group workouts in the park for a fun and motivating way to stay active.

Remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and listen to your body's signals to ensure a safe and enjoyable summer of activity.
